The Assistant General Manager serves as a key liaison for hotel guests and functions as a right hand to the General Manager, while concurrently supporting Front Office operations and other operating departments such as Housekeeping/Laundry, and Food & Beverage. This position will work in a hands-on capacity to maximize the overall efficiency and profitability of the hotel. Working in close partnership with other department managers and supervisors, the AGM is accountable for directing and coordinating the resources, tasks, requirements, systems and processes related to the hotel’s day-to-day operations, and for creating an energized and positive work environment that results in the delivery of exceptional guest service.
Guest Service / Front Desk Agent responsibilities include completing all activities listed in Front Desk checklist, performing various marketing duties (upselling) to generate additional revenue, providing optimum service and satisfaction to hotel/restaurant guests and visitors; showing individual performance effectiveness, and following proper security & liability measures to protect the assets of the hotel and the Company.
The House Attendant is responsible for Maintaining Guest floor and Public Space cleanliness. Responsibilities may also include Fitness Center, and Meeting Room cleanliness. Provides support to Room Attendants as assigned. May also support Laundry Department needs. The House person works under the direction of the Director/Manager of Housekeeping, Operations Managers or General Manager.
